# Ubuntu Cloud Skills Companion Materials — Release Overview

This open teaching-sample release demonstrates how a technical textbook line can name, group, and verify companion materials. The release is intentionally small: it identifies the learning route and its verification practice without becoming a public product site or a paid course.

The companion route begins with the stable portal patterns already proven in Book 4 and points readers toward explicit manifests, checksums, and release notes. A production publisher could reuse the pattern in a separate operational content repository.
